The Cinque Terre card:
The Cinque Terre card is valid either for one, three
or seven days and can be bought in the National Park
office at Vernazza's train station. Without paying any
additional fee, this card allows you to:
- use the trains between Levanto and La Spezia at any
times you need
- use the green National Park buses
- hike the trail number 2, between
Monterosso-Vernazza-Corniglia-Manarola and Riomaggiore
Rates are:

3 days Euro 13,00
7 days Euro 20,60
Children (4-12 years)
1 day Euro 2,70
3 days Euro 6,50
7 days Euro 10,30
The Hikes
Besides the famous trail number 2, there are numerous
other trails all over the territory of the Cinque
Terre, less known and less crowded, but no less
spectacular, and the efforts of hikers will be
satisfied with gorgeous and breathtaking scenery.
Good
equipment is required, since some parts of the trails
are akin to mountain paths - please use a map and
bring something to drink with you.
Luggage
We highly recommend everybody to travel with only a
few light bags.
There are stairs everywhere in
Vernazza and it's almost impossible to avoid them, but
it is easier to climb them with light bags or
backpacks. For security reasons there is no baggage
storage at the train station.
Banks
There are two banks in Vernazza, both of them with an
ATM, where you can get cash at any time.
